Helpful Tip
Remember, OneSearch contains a lot of the library's online collection, but not all of it! If you aren't finding the kinds of sources you think you shoud be, please ask a librarian! We have other databases that could provide more focused results for your topic.
You can access OneSearch on the Library's Home page. Scroll down to the menu and click "OneSearch," or keep going until you see the search box
Type in keywords or short terms or phrases related to your research topic or question. Remember, databases like OneSearch are literal and will only search the exact words you type in. For more on how to best utilize OneSearch, see the tab Searching Strategies.
If you see an article you'd like to read, it's a good idea to download it to make sure you have future access. You don't have to read it right away!
If you'd like to make sure you can find an article again that doesn't have a full-text copy, it's a good idea to copy the citation information from the record in OneSearch. Only use this feature as a guide! Automatically generated citations may have some errors.
You can also copy the permalink to the article and save it somewhere you can easily access. Another option is to use a citation management system like Zotero or Mendeley to keep track of your sources.
